Single Girder & Double Girder UNDERSLUNG CRANES

Special' building characteristics often require a special crane design. S/G & D/G underslung crane provide an optimum solution where the building structures make the normal traveling cranes less suitable. The main feature is that the crane track is not fastened to pillars but to the beams of the building. Over and above these special requirements the S/G & D/G underslung travelling cranes offer the advantage of very small trolley approach dimensions and as a result an optimum utilisation of the building width.

S/G underslung travelling cranes provide a load capacity range of 1.0 T up to 10 T and span up to 25m. An optimal area coverage can be achieved by individually fitting the cantilever. The highest hook position can be further increased by inserting the main girder between the end carriages.

• MOTORS : S/G & D/G CRANE uses sturdy motors. insulation class F,IP54 protection.
• GEAR BOXES : Precision helical/spur gear units in light alloy housings with case-hardened gears, high-grade surface treatment and permanent oil/grease lubrication.
• BRAKES : Single/ Dual-disc electromagnetic brakes featuring automatic braking on power failure. Environmentally sound brake linings designed for approx. Allow long maintenance intervals.
• ELECTRICAL PANEL : Modular design, covering a very wide operating range. The systems are designed for ease of installation and maintenance and reliable operation, with fuseless circuitry, ducted wiring and non-screwed terminals. Each drive group is equipped with a motor overload protection device to provide effective protection against inadmissible overloading.
• PAINTING: Every component & part is thoroughly scrubbed & painted with two coats of primer before assembly & two coats of synthetic enamel after testing.
